About
our company
Martyn, the owner of the company, began his career much like many other electricians — with an apprenticeship at a well‑known local firm many years ago. After qualifying, he gained broad hands‑on experience by moving around the industry and working in domestic, commercial, industrial and agricultural settings, as well as in panel building, solar, fire and security installations, to name just a few. That practical background, combined with roles as a supervisor and quantity surveyor for a number of employers, has given him the wide-ranging knowledge and capability he brings to every job today. In 2019 JPS Electrical was launched, we achieved NICEIC Approved Contractor membership and began offering our services across Cumbria and the Lake District. Since then we have come to look after some fantastic local businesses and built an extensive list of loyal, repeat customers for which we are extremely grateful. So whether it’s a faulty light switch, a new installation, or anything in between, we can help.
